Perform with Us
Performing at Paradise Green
At Paradise Green, we believe the Edinburgh Fringe should be an inspiring and welcoming experience
for everyone who takes part. Every summer we open our doors to a vibrant mix of performers:
from first-time Fringe companies to returning favourites; school ensembles to university
societies; emerging artists to seasoned professionals.
If you're bringing a show to Edinburgh,
there's a place for you here.
We are proudly run by volunteers who love theatre and care deeply about the Fringe. That passion fuels everything we do. From the moment you join us, we’re here to support you through your planning, prep, and performances. Allowing you to focus on what matters most: your show.
How does it all work?
Tell us all about your show through our simple application form and we’ll then get in touch
with an offer to reserve a performance slot that works best for you.
We will provide you with a welcome pack of information to support your journey to the Fringe
and a contract to get your slot secured.
We’ll be there every step of the way in the run up
to the festival, supporting registration to the Fringe website, insurance and licensing, as
well as providing guidance and support for your marketing materials and publicity.
What we provide
Our offer starts right from when you accept an offer to perform with us. We will support you in the months and weeks leading up to the Fringe through our dedicated programming team ready to guide you through the process, alongside technical and marketing support. During the Fringe, we’ll provide you with a well-equipped and well-staffed theatre, so you can concentrate on the important part of bringing a show to the Fringe: the performance.
Where there are extra charges, these are always for something over and above the standard deal, and most of our groups pay no more than the standard charges listed. Any extra costs will be clearly identified and discussed with you beforehand.

Our Venues
With five distinctive performance spaces across two centrally located venues, Paradise in Augustines and Paradise in the Vault, we’re confident we can offer the perfect home for your show, whatever your scale, style, or budget.
At the heart of Paradise in Augustines is The Sanctuary, our largest and most iconic space. With a high ceiling and spacious stage layout, it’s ideal for big, bold productions. Just below, The Studio offers similar capacity with added flexibility, making it a favourite for companies looking to shape the space to their own vision. And for the most intimate performances, The Snug offers a cosy space that shines with solo shows, spoken word, or stand-up comedy.
Tucked beneath George IV Bridge, in Paradise in the Vault, The Vault delivers atmosphere in abundance. Framed by a beautiful proscenium arch, it’s a striking setting for intimate dramas, debut plays, and everything in between. Alongside it, The Annexe offers a fully adaptable black box environment; perfect for experimental work, physical theatre, or fresh new writing.
Each space is fully equipped, supported by our technical and front-of-house team, and designed to help your show shine.
