Access to Paradise in Augustines

Access to Paradise in Augustines is via three shallow steps or a ramp is available upon request.

The Sanctuary has level access from the front of house. The audience enters down the side of a raked seating rig, with one row of seats on the floor and several further rows accessed via steps on a central aisle.

The Studio can be accessed via a single-width staircase, or via a wheelchair platform lift (weight limit of 400kg), with space for wheelchairs towards the middle of the auditorium. There is a single row with level access, with further seating accessed via a raked centre aisle.

The Snug is located downstairs, via a single width staircase. The audience enters through the side of the auditorium. The front row is all level access.

Unfortunately, our dressing rooms are not wheelchair accessible.

Access to Paradise in the Vault

Paradise in the Vault is located at the end of Merchant Street, which has a pavement running half its length and cobbled street for the final 20 metres. It has step free access with the box office located on street level. 3 steps or a lift provide access to the upper foyer, with the snack bar and toilets on this level.

The Vault is located immediately off the upper foyer, with one row of seats on the same level. A shallow rake provides additional seating.

For The Annexe, audiences leave the main foyer onto Merchant Street then access via the Pend. There are 5 - 6 steps in the Pend then a short, narrow staircase inside the space. The audience enters at the top and the rear of the raked auditorium.

Unfortunately, our dressing rooms are not wheelchair accessible.
