Simple, Transparent Pricing

Our fee depends upon the space you wish to perform in and the weeks you want to perform during as well as the length of your show and time of day. The pricing calculator at the bottom of the page allows you to explore what will suit your show and your budget.

Our prices are all inclusive, covering everything set out in our What We Provide page, and we do not take a box office split. All our prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT.

When you accept an offer to perform with us, your slot is reserved within our programme. We will follow this up with a contract setting out when your fee is payable, spread out over several installments leading up to the Fringe.

Timings

Your slot in our programme consists of the length of your show, plus your get-in and get-out time before and after your show. We accept shows with a performance length of at least half an hour, but the length of the slot you ask for is up to you!

We require shows performing in The Sanctuary and The Studio to have minimum get in and get out lengths of 20 minutes, though for shows with particularly complex requirements (e.g. extensive technical set up, substantial set and/or lots of props) you must consider whether you will need additional time and we may require this for your show. Your get in time covers entering the space and getting ready to perform, through your audience settling in their seats and your show starting. Your get out is from the end of the show through to you to leaving the space.

The minimum get in and get out lengths for The Snug, The Vault and The Annexe are 15 minutes, though you should consider whether this will be suitable for your show's needs.

Multi Week Discounts

We welcome shows for one, two and three weeks within our programme. To support those joining us for multiple weeks we offer the following discounts from the venue hire fee:

Two week run: 5%
Three week run: 10%

If your performance has an interval, include it in your total duration. We normally recommend 15 minutes if required.

You must have at least one week selected.

Add a preview performance - Friday 7 August? (Week 1 shows only)

If you are performing in week 1 you may be able to stage a preview performance on Friday 7 August. Previews are limited availability and will not normally be at the same time as you regular performance slot.

Assumptions & More Info

This estimate is based on the following assumptions:

You will be performing your show in The Sanctuary during week 1.
You will be staging a preview performance on the Friday before Week 1 begins.
Your performance will begin at 00:00 and end at 00:00 on each performance day.
You will have a get-in period of 15 minutes, and a get-out period of 15 minutes, immediately before and after each performance.

This all-inclusive fee covers hire of the space, standard technical equipment, box office, front of house staff, ticket printing, support from our Company Liaison team, office facilities and free Wi-Fi at our venues. We do not charge a box-office split.

The fee does not include registration for the Fringe Society programme and box office. Paradise Green register your show for you and pass on the registration fee from the fringe society. More information on current registration fees can be found here.

Get-in and get-out times have a minimum duration which is specified above. It is possible to pay for more time if required, please ask.

Where there are extra charges, these are always for something over and above the standard package (for example additional technical elements like radio mics and additional lighting), and most of our groups pay no more than the standard charges listed. Any extra costs will be clearly identified and discussed with you beforehand.

You normally do not have to pay the full fee immediately. Typically, we offer contracts with the cost split in to four equal instalments before the Fringe.

Nothing on this page will form any part of a contract between you and Paradise Green.
